ORENDA delivers a variety of mindfulness, yoga and meditation programs tailored to meet the needs of each individual or group. Introducing yoga early on has a significant impact on one's life, encouraging each individual to support their own health and ability to cope with stress. It also provides the opportunity for significant personal growth.
Emerging research on the building blocks of the brain in children and youth is important to consider when working with vulnerable populations, including youth considered to be “at risk”. Exposure to ACEs can dramatically impact ones cognitive, social, and developmental capabilities, as well as the ability to manage stressful situations.
